Fire Damage Cleanup Inside a Standing House
When the structure survives, the work is a targeted interior demolition. Burned drywall, insulation, ceilings, cabinets and flooring are cut out, and charred framing is exposed so your contractor and insurance adjuster can see what needs repair.
We protect the parts of the house that were not damaged. Floors in unaffected rooms get Ram Board, doorways get plastic sheeting, and we keep dust down while we work.

Clearing a Lot After a Total Loss
When a house is a total loss, what remains has to come down and the lot has to be cleared. Our Kubota mini excavators and Bobcat skid steers handle collapsed framing, chimneys, retaining walls and concrete, and our dump trucks carry it away.
Hillside lots in Altadena, the Palisades and other foothill areas often have tight access and steep driveways. Compact equipment lets us reach spots a full-size excavator cannot.
Testing, Rules and What We Will Tell You Up Front
Fire debris can contain materials that need testing before they are disturbed, especially in older LA homes. We are not a hazardous materials or abatement company. Before we start, we will tell you what testing or clearances are required so the work proceeds in the right order.
If your property went through a government debris removal program, there may still be remaining work before a rebuild, such as foundations, flatwork, walls or trees. We can look at what is left and give you a clear scope.
Working With Your Insurance Adjuster and Builder
We keep things simple for homeowners dealing with claims. We can walk the property with your adjuster or builder, describe the scope in plain terms, and document the work with photos as it progresses. When the debris is gone, your builder gets a clean site to start from.
What Fire Debris Cleanup Usually Includes
Every fire is different, but most of our fire cleanup scopes draw from the same list. We confirm each item with you before work starts so there are no surprises on the bill or on site.
- Burned and smoke-soaked drywall, ceilings and insulation
- Charred cabinets, countertops, doors and trim
- Damaged flooring down to the subfloor or slab
- Furniture, appliances and contents that cannot be saved
- Collapsed roofing, framing and exterior walls
- Chimneys, foundations, flatwork and retaining walls on total-loss lots
- Burned fencing, decks and sheds in the yard
Keeping the Site Safe While It Waits
A burned property can sit for weeks while claims and permits move forward. We can fence the work area with construction fencing and privacy screen, keep debris piles contained, and use water spray to control dust while we work so neighbors are not dealing with ash blowing across the street.
