Common residential demolition projects
Most of our residential work supports a remodel or a rebuild. Typical projects include the following.
- Kitchen and bathroom demolition before a remodel
- Full interior gut to the studs for a whole-house renovation
- Removing walls to open up a floor plan (after your engineer or contractor confirms what is safe to remove)
- Garage interior demo for ADU conversions
- Back yard demolition: decks, patios, fire pits and old concrete
- Whole-house teardowns for new construction
Working in an occupied neighborhood
Los Angeles neighborhoods are dense. Driveways are shared, streets are narrow and the house next door may be ten feet away. We plan truck parking, keep the street clear and clean up at the end of each day.
Inside, we lay Ram Board on floors that stay, hang plastic sheeting on walls and doorways, and vacuum and sweep before we leave. Customers have told us the dust control stood out to them, especially on kitchen demo.

Demo for remodels and additions
A remodel only goes as smoothly as the demolition before it. If too much comes out, the contractor rebuilds things that could have stayed. If too little comes out, framers are left cutting around old material. We go over the plan with you or your contractor so the demo matches the drawings.
For a whole-house renovation we can strip drywall, ceilings, flooring, cabinets and fixtures down to the framing, which gives your inspector and trades a clear view of what they are working with.
Older homes and testing
Many LA homes were built decades ago, and some older materials need testing before they are disturbed. We will tell you up front if your project may need testing and what is required before demolition starts, so the job is not stopped halfway.
Outside the house: yards and outbuildings
Residential demolition does not stop at the back door. Plenty of homeowners call us to clear the yard before a landscape redesign or a new pool. We break out tired concrete patios, pull up old wood decks, take down brick fire pits and remove sheds that have outlived their use.
Since we run skid steers and mini excavators, we can also rough grade the area afterward so your landscaper or concrete contractor starts with a clean, level surface instead of a pile of rubble.
Who we work with
Some of our residential clients are homeowners managing their own remodel. Others are general contractors and builders who bring us in for the demo phase and the haul-off. We are comfortable either way. Homeowners get clear explanations and a straightforward estimate. Contractors get a crew that follows the plan, works to the schedule and leaves the site ready for framing.
Residential demolition with hauling included
We bring dump trucks and trailers to the job, so there is no waiting on a roll-off bin and no bin sitting in your driveway for weeks. We separate concrete, metal, wood and other recyclable materials whenever practical.
