Examples of small demolition jobs
If you think your project might be too small to call about, it probably is not. Here are jobs we regularly take on.
- Removing a non-structural wall or closet
- Tearing out a single bathroom or a small kitchen
- Taking down a shed, playhouse or small patio cover
- Breaking out a small concrete pad, step or walkway
- Removing a wood deck or a section of fence
- Pulling up carpet, tile or old flooring in one or two rooms
- Removing a brick planter or small fire pit
Why hire a demo crew for a small job
Small demolition looks simple until you are halfway through it. A wall may hide wiring or plumbing. A shed may be on a concrete slab you did not know was there. Tile may be set on a mortar bed that takes hours to break up. Then there is the debris, which is heavier and bulkier than most people expect and will not fit in household trash.
Our crew comes with the tools, the protection and a truck or trailer to haul the debris the same day. You skip the rental, the dump runs and the cleanup.
There is also safety to think about. Swinging a sledgehammer at a wall you have not checked, or cutting into a slab without the right saw, is how people get hurt or damage a house. Our crew does this work every day and knows what to look for first.

Careful work inside finished homes
Many small jobs happen in homes that are otherwise finished and lived in. Opening a fireplace wall in a modern living room, for example, means the rest of the room has to stay spotless. We lay Ram Board over floors, hang plastic sheeting and vacuum as we work, so the only change is the part you asked us to remove.
Fast estimates and scheduling
For small jobs, speed matters. We often come out the same day to look at a project, and simple jobs can sometimes be scheduled very soon after. In one case a homeowner called about a shed, we looked at it that day and removed it the next.
If you prefer, send photos and a short description to neodemoandhauling@gmail.com or call (818) 208-0589. For many small jobs that is enough to get started.
Combining small jobs
Homeowners often have a few small things they have been putting off: an old shed, a cracked walkway, a closet they want opened up. Bundling them into one visit is efficient for everyone. We can also haul away old furniture, appliances or junk while the crew and truck are already there.

Licensed and insured, even for small work
Even a small demolition job carries risk to your home. NEO Demolition & Hauling is licensed, bonded and insured under CSLB #1144503, so you are working with a licensed contractor who stands behind the work and carries insurance for it.
