Concrete and Back Yard Demolition
Burbank's older neighborhoods, including Magnolia Park and the streets around it, have plenty of mid-century homes with aging driveways, patios and back yard slabs. We break concrete with skid steer breakers and jackhammers, saw-cut clean edges where new work will meet old and haul it all away.
Most of that concrete goes to recycling instead of the landfill.
Garages, Decks and ADU Prep
Back yard ADUs are popular in Burbank. That usually means removing a garage, shed or old deck to make space. We handle the demo, clear the area and leave it ready for your builder. If the garage is staying and only needs gutting, we strip the interior and leave the shell ready for conversion.
- Detached garage demolition
- Wood deck and patio cover removal
- Shed and outbuilding removal
- Yard grading with a skid steer

Hillside Homes and the Rancho Area
Homes in the Burbank hills below the Verdugo Mountains have steep driveways and retaining walls. Down near Griffith Park, the Rancho equestrian area has larger lots, barns and stables. Both call for different equipment and access plans, which we work out at the estimate.
Interior Remodels and Full Teardowns
Many Burbank remodels start with an interior gut: kitchens, bathrooms, walls and floors removed so the layout can change. We protect floors and contain dust while we work. When a lot is being rebuilt, we take the whole house down, remove the foundation and leave a clean, graded lot. Older homes may need asbestos or lead testing before demolition, and we'll tell you what's required.
Burbank Permits and Access
Burbank is not part of the City of Los Angeles. Building permits go through Burbank's own Building and Safety Division, with its own rules and inspections. We'll go over what your job needs. With the 5 and 134 close by, hauling out of Burbank is usually straightforward.
